Présentation:
P.Grant was born in the south of France, in 1971, of a black American mother and a Corsican father. He grew up with mother’s family where he was influenced by music from all over- from Marvin Gaye to Fela Kuti.

He later discovered the sounds of Disco, Groove, Hip Hop and New Wave through innovative djs such as Kenny Carpenter, Renee Hewitt, Walter Gibbons, Tee Scott, Tony Humphrey, Larry Patterson, David Mancuso, Nicky Siano.

When the House fever hit the south of France, he was immediately attracted. In 1992, he became the resident dj at Bal (the house club of Saint Tropez) and of Café de Paris (Saint Tropez). He played regular spots at Café de Paris in London, at Hollywood Club and Tainos Bar (both Milan) and more recently at the Calvin Klein Club (also in Milan).

He also recorded sessions (Mix) with Mr. Mike, for Color 3 Radio, Switzerland. He then moved to Paris to learn about sound from M.Chaval, an engineer of the Thomson Army, at Studio. He left Paris for New York, with nothing more than a backpack and his vinyls, to work at Walter sear’s, Sear Sound Studio. Here he specialized in mastering and worked alongside FK Junior from Bel Amour Label.

He mixed up compilations for Barfly, Barrio Latino, Fashion Week II, Joia (Miami), Tribal Works II for George V and Indochine (Zurich-Switzerland) for Leomeo of Nirvana and many more .........

Combining his experience, his influences and his talent, Grant, today plays a variety of styles from House, Electro-Jazz, Nu Soul through to Brazilian Beat and more.... Nowadays, he moves between Paris, New York, Moscow and London.

Magazines like Nippon Vogue are always interested in using his talents. In 2003 he played at Madonna’s American Life (Private Party) in Paris; at the Versace Party with Boy George and at the opening of the famous Touessrock Mauritius hotel at l’Ile Maurice.

He selected and mixed the cd compilation of the famous Villa Romana in Saint Tropez. He currently spends his weekdays at Paris’ famous ‘La Cantine’ and divides his weekends between New York, London and Moscow
